Francesco Giacomarra

I am a second-year PhD student involved in the iNEST project, aimed at developing digital twins. I got my Bachelor’s degree in Statistics for Economics and Business and my Master Degree in Data Science both from the university of Padua.

Broadly speaking, my research revolves around probabilistic methods applied to modeling, with a focus on graph models, high dimensional statistics and Monte-Carlo based methods. I am always eager to explore new creative ways to combine the rigorous results from probability theory with the power of machine learning, deep learning and statistics to find data-driven solutions to interesting problems!

In my free time I try to stay active and socialize as much as possible. I love cooking, playing ping-pong, bouldering and playing tabletop games.
