I am currently a PhD student at the University of Trieste under the supervision of Luca Bortolussi, in the AI Lab, and Lorenzo Castelli, in the Operation Research Lab.
My research lies at the intersection of machine learning and mathematical optimisation where I am interested in leveraging the potential of learning-based models to tackle complex optimisation settings. In particular, I study problems that can be cast in a sequential decision-making formulation and explore single and multi-agent reinforcement learning solutions.
In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities and sports ranging from casual hikes to climbing, cycling and skiing.
